How to Edit XMP Metadata in WAV Files

WAV audio files can have metadata embedded in them, in conformance with the format standard. There are several possible metadata formats for WAV, including XMP. (Extensible Metadata Platform)

XMP can contain a large number of various metadata elements, such as title, description, creator, keywords, and date.

It's possible to edit XMP metadata with an appropriate software that has been designed for this purpose. MetadataTouch™ is a multi-format metadata editor for Windows®, that, among its capabilities, can edit seven WAV metadata formats, including XMP metadata. It can do so one file at a time, and its Professional Edition can also do so in a group of files en masse. It has a simple & straightforward graphical user interface.
