We, at Digital Confidence Ltd, care about your privacy. This privacy statement explains the data this Software collects on its users, how is the data being used, and for what purposes.

1. COLLECTION OF DATA

The trial or demo version of this Software does not collect any data, and does not communicate with any other computer during its lifetime.

The full paid version of this Software employs an Activation licensing mechanism to enforce the number of computers on which this Software is used, in accordance with the licensing policy.

Other than the Activation process, this Software does not communicate with any other computer during its lifetime.

For the purpose of Activation, a value derived from the unique motherboard ID of the computer on which this Software is installed on, is sent to Digital Confidence Ltd web server. This value is stored in a secured database, along with the activation date and data collected when the license was purchased, which was shared with us by PayPal Ltd, our payment processing company. This data includes the email address of the customer, the name of the customer, a unique customer ID assigned by PayPal, the business name of the customer, if applicable, the country of residence of the customer, the name of the purchased product, the number of licenses purchased, the licensee name, the License ID created by Digital Confidence Ltd, and the date in which the license has been issued. In addition, the IP address of the computer initiating the Activation is stored in a secured log file of the web server. A general geographical location can be deduced from the internet address. If Manual Activation method was used, using a web browser, in addition to the IP address of the computer initiating the Activation, the secured log file of the web server will also store the user agent. Data about the user agent may include the browser type and version and the operating system type and version.

Other than the aforementioned data, no other data is collected by this Software.

All collected data are generally kept by us indefinitely, however, we may, in our sole discretion, delete from time to time some of the collected data.

2. NO DEDUCTION OF ADDITIONAL DATA

We make no attempt to deduce any other data about the users of this Software, including not by accessing third-party data repositories or social networks.

We use data about customers who have purchased our products for statistical purposes, for enforcing our products licensing policy, and for notifying our customers when new versions of the products are available.

3. ACCESS TO COLLECTED DATA

Authorized personnel of Digital Confidence Ltd and of its web hosting provider – GoDaddy Inc – can access data collected by the paid version of this Software.

Digital Confidence Ltd is a privately held company, registered and based in Israel, and therefore subject to Israeli law. We may share this data with Israeli law enforcement authorities if required to do so by Israeli law or by an Israeli court order. We may also share this data with private parties and other authorities in Israel or elsewhere if we believe that this data will be useful for investigating suspected criminal activities or for legal proceedings. Otherwise, we do not share this data with any other party.

GoDaddy Inc might also share data they have access to with applicable law enforcement authorities if required to do so by applicable law or by an applicable court order.

We make adequate efforts to protect the web server and the database in which the data is stored, but cannot guarantee that they will not be breached, or that the data will otherwise be compromised by non-authorized people.
